How Innsight handles personal information, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
When you submit feedback directly, we store the name or handle you provide and the text of your feedback. For public reviews (e.g. Google), we process the reviewer display name and review text as already published on those platforms.
To analyse guest sentiment and help the guest house improve its service. Direct feedback is processed on the basis of the consent you give at submission; public review data is processed on a legitimate-interest basis.
Raw feedback is retained only for a limited period and then deleted automatically. Summarised, non-identifying insights may be kept longer.
You may request access to, or erasure of, the personal information we hold about you. Contact the Information Officer below and we will action your request.
